It’s a beautiful day in Snowshoe, but everything will change before racing starts tomorrow. Friday’s racing (STXC, DH seeding) will likely run under rainy conditions. The currently dry and tacky trails are likely to be slippery mud when the riders toe the line tomorrow at 8:00 AM.
Saturday’s forecast looks harsh with colder temps (low to mid 30s) some snow showers, and high winds. This will make for tough conditions for the XC and DH finals.
Sunday should be more mild and offer good spectating of the dual slalom and team relay events.
